Three Wheeled Buggies

This was very comfortable for my children.

The size and shape of the seat is another thing to think about. It is important for the seat to be big enough to allow your child to feel at ease and to lie down. Some three-wheel buggies have the option of lying flat, which allows the child to face you, while others only allow a parent-facing one.

Buggies with larger wheels can be quite wide, and they may be a challenge to fit into tight spaces. This is a problem if you use it as a jogger, or need to fit through doorways that are narrow when out and about. Fortunately, the majority of models come with small folding options that let you take off the front wheels to make compact 3 wheel stroller storage.

Easy to maneuver

One of the main benefits to a three-wheeled buggy is that it is much easier to maneuver, especially with a child on the way. They are designed to ensure that the front wheels can rotate at a moment’s notice, and are easy to move, making them ideal for terrains that are difficult, such as parks, cobblestones as well as bumpy roads and dirt tracks.

MFM reviewer Kath tested a 3 wheel twin Stroller wheeler with her infant and toddler and wrote: “The Terrain was a pleasure to navigate over the rough terrain with the swivel rear wheel particularly useful. I was also awed by the way it handled kerbs with the hand-operated break. It was extremely stable when for descending or on a rough terrain.”

The only downside of this amazing mobility is that the 3 wheel buggy’s bigger wheels sometimes mean that it will struggle in tight spaces, something to be aware of when you live in a urban area. If this is a problem then a four-wheeled buggy might be a better option for you.
