What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

The item upgrader is an additional widget to the top of both the Angel and Cash Upgrade Windows. This Manager is priced at 33 billion Angel Investors and offers no gameplay benefit aside from making it easier to find and buy upgrades.

Boosters

There are a variety of enhancements that can be obtained with an upgrader. These can include a variety of stats, in addition to many additional bonuses. Some items come with built-in boos which is less beneficial when upgraded. For example, the Goldwrap provides extra potion slots. These are often upp’d to increase the value of a perfect or near-perfect item.

Costs

Upgrades are accompanied by some associated costs. The most significant cost is the upgrade itself. The cost for this upgrade can be costly and is contingent on the new value of the item and the number of perks it receives. Upgrades to higher levels (such as Explorer to Champion or Veteran to Heroic) are costly.

The second is the cost of the materials required to upgrade. The items used for upgrades are usually either Power Dices (dropped by monsters 21and over) or Minerals and Erons (obtainable by completing certain Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor quests). The amount of these materials required can be seen in the inventory of an upgrade vendor.

It takes time to upgrade an item upgrader kit. It can take 8 hours depending on the size of an upgrade. The upgraded item’s base stats are calculated based on the new ilvl of the item upgrade bonuses, perks, and other properties. This calculation determines the updated Armor Class bonus, damage dice, and other crucial stats. In certain cases, the upgrade will grant additional perks that can be selected from a list of perks.

In rare cases, the upgrade will only replace the highest-costing bonuses. Sometimes, the upgrader may make other changes to an item, for example, changing its weapon damage type or removing or adding an operative or unwieldy property. The cost of these changes is determined by the new ilvl of the item, and it could require a special substance like an adamantine alloy.

Success Rate

The basis for upgrading items is a chance, and like any random system, there is the possibility that the upgrade won’t succeed. However, there are a few things that can increase the odds of success. This includes using an Upgrade Pity, or the addition of additional components to your upgrade.

An Upgrade Pity is an item that you can purchase from the smithing NPC in Lost Ark. It increases the chance of an upgrade being successful by some percentage. It is similar to the luck bonus that certain items offer, but is more stable. It can be added to any weapon or armor, and can be used up to three times.

It is also possible to add a variety of additional elements to the upgrade, which increases its chances of success. These are shown in a window that is above the + button. There are a few limitations. The maximum amount of material you can add is displayed directly above the + button.

Another method to increase the chances of a successful upgrade is by using an item known as a Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it. This item is helpful when you own an Best Item Upgrader of equipment that has reached the maximum level for its tier or is close to it. It allows you to upgrade that piece of gear to the next level without having to worry about it breaking.

You can also opt for an insurance policy that will safeguard your item in the event of a failure. The cost of this protection can vary but will always be less than the cost of purchasing a new item level upgrade. The protection can only be used one time per upgrade and will last until it is used again.

The interface for the item upgrader can be confusing, but it is not impossible to navigate. The main menu is displayed on the left side and the upgrade window appears on the right.
