Best 3 Wheel Stroller Travel System 3 wheeled buggy 3 wheel pushchair off road Pushchairs
All-terrain stroller that is lightweight and durable. It also offers excellent maneuverability. Its compact one-hand fold means it’s easy to transport and freestanding when folded. The padded seat reclines to a nearly flat position, and there is a large canopy and storage bin. Baby suitability: Yes it comes with a carrycot (not suitable for overnight sleeping).
A good suspension with air-filled tires will help you to handle rough terrain. You can also use it for jogging. But, you should wait until the baby is at least 6 or 9 months old.
Ickle Bubba XL Air
This pushchair from Ickle Bubba is a brilliant choice for parents who want a lightweight buggy with enhanced features. It comes as a travel system, which includes a lie-flat carrycot designed for infants, a multi-position forward and rear facing 3 wheeler pushchair off road seat and a selection of a group 0+ car seats, so you can have everything in one package.
The XL Air is a really impressive vehicle and it’s easy to see why it has been awarded so many praises from customers. It’s extremely light-weight The chassis and wheels weigh only 6.5kg. It is extremely easy to put together. I was able to get it up and running in less than five minutes. This is remarkable considering it also includes attaching fabric for the carrycot.
The seat is large and comfortable for Annie who is 12 months old. The recline lever was simple to operate. The basket is spacious with plenty of space, and I like that the handle bar comes with an area to keep your phone and keys safe.
The only slight downside is that the handlebar is low, which could be an issue for taller parents. But, it’s covered in a gorgeous leather-like material that’s soft and comfortable, and it wipes down easily, meaning it’s still a breeze to push with bags and children on your hands!
Hauck Pushchair Runner
The Runner is made for sporty parents who are eager to go outside and explore. The large pneumatic wheels can be used on field and forest trails. The front 3 wheel pushchair travel system is lockable and swivels for added versatility. It also has a padded 5-point safety harness and a front bar to keep your little one safe on all trips and the parking brake effectively stops the stroller from moving even when you take a break. The comfortable seat is easy to adjust down to a lying position and the canopy can be opened to allow netting for optimum air circulation during hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30cm to fit mum or dad.
Whether you’re going for short jogs or a longer hike The Runner is ready to join you on your journeys with a fully-flat lie-flat seat and suspension air wheels that guarantee an unhurried ride. The front wheel can be locked to provide greater stability when walking on narrow streets or busy sidewalks. The stroller can also be folded in order to fit into car boot spaces and storage areas.
Some parents have reported that the Runner 2 to be a bit harder to navigate than its predecessor and the locking system isn’t as user-friendly (requiring two buttons on the opposite side of the push bar). The handlebars are higher than some competitors, and therefore may not be suitable for taller parents. However the stroller is durable and versatile and is a good option for families with active children.

Red Kite’s Pace is a fantastic product from the budget-friendly British brand. They are known for their simple, well-designed products that are essential to parents. It’s their latest and most expensive addition to the stroller line that is a bargain and lightweight. Similar to the Ickle Bubba Aurora or Yoyo it’s car seat-compatible, so you can use from birth.
The new Pace comes with some amazing design features, like a rose-gold tint on the chassis, hood and stroller trims that truly distinguish it from. The grey, tan and cream fabrics used in the stroller as well as the car seat are stylish and there is an option to add an coordinating leather handle for the cover and bumper bar as well.
The stroller seat can be used from birth up to 22kg. It easily converts into a reversible 2-in-1 position, which is either parent-facing or world-facing. The stroller seat offers multiple lie back positions, soft padded leg rest support and comes with an extended sun canopy that has concealed zip sections, a viewing see through flap and a retractable sun visor section.
Furthermore, when folded in half, the Pace measures 56 x 43 x 32cm which means it can be used as hand luggage with Easyjet and Ryanair, among other carriers. Two buttons on either side are easy to use and click to lock it in the right position.
Bugaboo Fox 5
Bugaboo’s Fox 5 is designed to be the ultimate, all-terrain stroller. Its unique chassis has shorter lightest 3 wheel stroller length, making it more manoeuvrable than its predecessor. I tested it alongside my two kids – a toddler and an eight week old – over rough terrain along woodland paths, grassy trails and even cobblestones.
The large puncture-proof wheels – 22cm or 30cm in size are able to handle a variety of terrains. They also have a handy flap that can open or closes to let more air to circulate should you need it, which is a nice feature. It’s a bit bigger than some pushchairs but it doesn’t feel bulky or heavy when you are pushing it across bumpy surfaces.
The seat fabric is machine washable and the frame and faux leather grips are simple to clean. It’s also a lot quieter than many pushchairs and I felt comfortable using it on busy city streets. A bonus feature is that it incorporates accessory points, meaning you can put in footmuffs, parasols, changing bags, and even a tray for snacks. You can also use the hood to block rain and wind, but it’s not waterproof. The single pram is able to be fitted with the Comfort Wheeled Board (not included) that gives your child more leg room. The bassinet took about 20 minutes to set up and it took the same amount of time to transform it into a seat.

iCandy Core
The new iCandy pushchair is packed with features that will be awe-inspiring to parents. It features a Multi-Mode wheelbase and a revolutionary LED Visibility Hub Light that’s a first for the industry. It also has an integrated Ride-on Board, which saves on future costs and makes it simple for a tired toddler to join you on family outings.
The Core is available as either a travel system or single seat. It works with most popular car seats, such as those from Cybex Maxi Cosi Joie. Like all iCandy pushchairs, this one is luxuriously constructed and comes with high-end knitted jersey fabrics. The adjustable handlebar for parents and child’s detachable bumper bar are made from soft leatherette, while the folding calf support folds away and is very comfortable for children.
I was awed by how easy it is to fold and collapse. It only takes one hand, even with the seat unit on. It’s also easily tucked away in your boot and hallway making it ideal for travel. The iCandy Core comes with lots of additional accessories, including an rucksack that matches the colour of your choice and footmuff/liner.
