This model that is heavy duty is based on the well-known A06 Freedom Chair and can accommodate users of up to 25 stone/160kg. The powerchair has twin 300 watt motors which can push you forward at speeds of up to 4mph and have a a range of 9 miles or more from just one battery (a second battery can be added).

It’s light, foldable and compact when not in use, so it’s easy to move and put away. It’s ideal for people who travel by car, cruise ship or plane with a chair as it easily fits into the cabin. It also has airline-approved lithium-ion batteries and an adaptor cable for charging off-board.

The user controls the powerchair via an electronic joystick that can be attached to either armrest and can be adapted to be used by either left or right-handed users. The foot plate can be raised to facilitate easy transfer and the tyres have 12″ all-terrain PU so it can tackle more challenging terrain.

A handy under-seat bag and fixed zippered pocket on the seat back provide plenty of space to store personal items. There are adjustable lap belts as well as electromagnetic brakes to increase user safety.
