1. UPPAbaby Ridge
You can see UPPAbaby strollers all terrain lightweight stroller over on playgrounds and city sidewalks however the Ridge is their first jogger that is specifically designed for all-terrain adventures. Launched in 2021, the UPPAbaby Ridge is a solid competitor to BOB joggers like the Alterrain Pro, Revolution Flex and Rambler. Although it has many of the same features with other joggers however, the Ridge stands out due to its never-flat tires and disc brakes that resemble mountain bikes that provide more stopping power than traditional drum brakes on the majority of strollers that jog.
The Ridge seat is higher than the seats on many other strollers for jogging which makes it easier for children to observe their surroundings. The seat can be reclined into several positions by using the standard plastic toggle and two straps attached to the stroller’s back. The canopy is big and extends for more coverage on long walks. However the plastic cover can get dirty on muddy or wet excursions.
The UPPAbaby Ridge’s wheels are made of foam instead of air-filled. This means that you don’t need to carry extra tires or an air pump. The Ridge features the rear wheel that can be locked for running, and a front wheel that adjusts to different terrains. Like other strollers that jog the UPPAbaby Ridge comes with a foot-activated parking brake to stop the stroller when you need to take a break or catch your breath.
A large basket underneath the seat provides plenty of storage space for gear, snacks and toys for children. The canopy cover can be zipped open to give you more coverage on sunny days, or closed and cinched down for clouds. Parents will appreciate that the Ridge is compatible with UPPAbaby’s infant car seats as well as their Bassinet accessory (adapters available separately) to create a travel system.
One drawback of the UPPAbaby Ridge is that it’s very bulky and heavy when folded. The stroller is difficult to transport via public transportation and is difficult to navigate through narrow storefronts or shopping aisles.

4. Graco Expedition
The Graco Expedition, our cheapest model is a great option for parents looking for a smooth ride with plenty of storage space. It is compact and can stand on its own when not in use to conserve space. Its wheels were easy to navigate around corners and roll smoothly on the different terrains we test. However, it didn’t perform as well as other wagons we tested when going up hills.
The Expedition includes a parent tray that has dual cup holders, and a covered storage space. It also comes with a child tray that has two cups, a snack area and two cup holders. It is compatible with an adapter for car seats from Graco to make an entire travel set. The adjustable canopy moves in both directions, but it’s too small to offer any protection.
The Expedition comes with brake pedals for both rear wheels. The brake pedals are easy to use and release. However the underside is rough for bare feet or sandals. In our runaway-wagon test, the brakes were able to stop the stroller that was weighed however, it first skidded before it came to a stop. The model isn’t equipped with a 3-point safety harness. The cushioned seat is comfortable however the recline is limited. It’s not a good option for runners.
