The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a great option if you’re on a tight budget and don’t require a stroller which can also be used as car seat carrier. It has a simple one-step foot brake that’s flip-flop comfortable.

It’s also a breeze to push and feels solid when navigating kerbs or woodland pathways. Additionally, it’s easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned its reputation as the most stroller that is lightweight, suitable for city dwellers as well for jet-setters. This is thanks to its nimble maneuverability and fold-down design that can be incorporated into the overhead baggage of an aircraft. The Newborn Pack and bassinet can be used from birth as an infant stroller. It can also be converted into a stroller after 6 months using the YOYO connect other chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a fantastic choice for parents looking for an adaptable stroller wagon. The Evenflo Xplore can be transformed from a stroller to the wagon by turning the handle. Parents can then decide which one is the best single travel stroller fit for their adventure. The wagon can fit two or more children between 6 months to 5 years old. It has a large storage basket that can accommodate all your necessities on the go.

The Xplore also features dual canopies that rotate from front to back, providing ample sun protection for all family members. It has a smaller footwell than other wagons. This might not be ideal for long drives or naps.

The frame on the Xplore is solid and sturdy but it doesn’t have the same flex as some of the other wagons we tested. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and it isn’t able to lock securely after folding. It is easy to move, however, and can fit through doors that are narrower than 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great option for parents who are looking for a second stroller that’s affordable. It scored a dazzling score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and size folded that means it’s lightweight, small when collapsed and easy to move into a trunk of a car or closet. It also has a multi-position reclined seat and a cup holder for the parent. Other features of note include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels and two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling.

In our push and turn test, it did better than most of the other strollers that we test, but it’s not the most maneuverable on uneven terrain or through doorways that are narrow. The sunshades are among the smallest we tested, offering only direct overhead coverage and no windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a much larger canopy.

It took us less than 3 minutes to assemble the Delta using a standard manual. None of the parts required tools. However, it’s missing certain essential features we believe you should consider non-negotiable in a double stroller such as an extra-large basket and reclining seats with adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi’s newest pushchair that is advertised as a travel system for urban use. It is designed to accommodate baby from birth up to approximately 3.5 years, converting easily into a seat and carrycot with only a few clicks. It can also be used with Maxi-Cosi capsule car seats and comes complete with the lightweight Mico 30 infant car seat, stay-in-car base, and a reversible car.

The seat can be reclined using one hand, and the large shopping basket makes it easy for parents to take their child in and out. This narrow pushchair handled everyday bumps and doorways easily.

The front wheels can be locked into a forward position or let them swivel which is helpful when traversing rough terrain. We let the front wheels to swivel on our walk along an uneven path. It was able to handle this well, even though it felt slightly bumpier.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is a household name for their three-wheeled, all-terrain pushchairs for jogging, but they also have a wide assortment of strollers with four wheels. City Tour 2 is their most loved model. It folds easily and can fit into the car’s boot even with an attached carrycot.

It is a bit heavier than the other strollers we tested but the wheels are rubber composite, so it feels sturdy and sturdy. It’s a breeze to maneuver across all kinds of terrain, and it’s easy to carry, even when loaded with two kids and a shopping bag.

Both the seat and carrycot have hoods that can be lowered to reveal a UV50+ sun canopy extension. They are durable and waterproof, unlike other hoods for prams, which can be blown back into toddlers’ faces.

It’s not the biggest of storage space, but it does have a big basket that’s large enough to fit an infant’s changing bag and plenty of food items. It can also be used with a Baby Jogger car seat for babies up 20 lbs (car seat and adapters are sold separately). If you need a stroller that can be used on the road, then the City Tour 2 is an ideal choice.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first appeared on the scene, it instantly captured the hearts of parents everywhere. It’s an aluminum-framed stroller that can be used from the infant’s first days until. It’s got a few notable features, including the possibility of flipping the seat between parent and the world, a large UPF 50+ canopy that has a flip out eyeshade as well as a large basket and adjustable handlebar.

The chassis is equipped with an integrated suspension system that helps reduce the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are constructed from tough foam and minimise punctures. It was easy to push and our tester was able manoeuvre the vehicle through tight streets.

It folds in four simple steps and automatically locks without fuss. It can also be rolled and raised for easier transportation down the stairs or in the trunk of the car. It also comes with a travel system ready with the option to add a car seat or carrycot using the adaptors that come with it. The brakes are easy to use, using a single color coded and flip-flop compatible.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget single standing stroller pushchair is surprisingly easy to handle and features excellent dual suspension, a one-hand fold and a practical carry strap. It’s also lightweight and durable. The seat can be reclined into various positions. It also is equipped with a double breathable mattress that is suitable from birth.

The canopy/seat comes with two large fixed or flip-out sun visors. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn’t ideal as it’s not as quiet as Velcro and could awaken napping babies.

The Duet is a stroller with an angled design that can be used by twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It’s compatible with two infant car seats and can be used with carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can be placed so that they face each the other. They can also be set towards the parents. This will help lessen sibling fights over who gets seated with mom and dad. It comes with a massive bottle holder, gear tray snack tray, and a change mat. It also has a folding stand that folds down and a frame lock.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban Glide 2 is a jogger designed for parents who like to stay active. It’s one of the lightest running strollers that you can purchase for your child. It comes with great safety features like a 5-point harness as well as a safety wrist strap. It comes with a different kind of hand brake that is different from other models that are an interesting twist.

The seat is comfortable and offers a large area to sit in, but the seat’s depth is less than other joggers that we’ve tested (it’s about 10″). The storage bin comes with a zippered cover to help keep items secure. It can hold 10 lbs. This is enough for most diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 isn’t compatible with bassinets for infants or car seats as of yet, but you can use it from day one with the purchase of adapters for the majority of seats made by brands such as BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It is simple to fold and assemble in 5-10 minutes without any tools. The manual is easy to read and contains a variety of languages.
