They can take only a single UK mattress and add a variety of useful pieces underneath. Many of our midi cabin beds are offered in multiple colour finishes so you can choose the one that suits your child’s bedroom best. Some take it even more than that and come with a range of bespoke storage units. The desk can be moved between the two units on wheels. There are four storage drawers, and two cupboards with doors. The Eli F takes things to the next step with doors that match your foot and head boards.

The Luna low line loft bed or midi storage bed is compact and comes with everything you need including a ladder that can be turned into a desk that slides across the floor on wheels, a three drawer chest and cabinet, all included. It can also be built in a reverse configuration for example, with the ladder on the right side. You can ask for this in the store or add this request to the checkout.

Style

You might be able depending on the design of the midsleeper you choose, to add clever storage to the stairs. Many of our customers choose a low-line loft bed with turned stairs. This midi-loft that is compact and storage is ideal for children – the desk slides out and in on wheels. There are three drawers to store their trinkets or toys, and a huge cupboard to keep books.

Some midi loft beds with storage come with a desk already built into the bunk (as illustrated in the photo above), while others like our Luna midi bunk have the ladder on the right-hand side so that the desk can be positioned to the left (please ask in store, or on the phone or add this in the comments section when looking around in case this is important to you).

Most Midi loft beds require a standard UK Single mattress (3ft/90x190cm), with a wooden base. The cost of the bed doesn’t include the mattress. We suggest looking through our mattress deals to find one that is within your budget.

Storage

A midi-cabin with storage can be the ideal solution for a child’s room that requires extra space. These beds are smaller than high-sleepers, and come with stairs or a ladder to make it easy to access. They are also usually available with a variety of clever storage elements like drawers, a desk and cabinets for toys, books and other items. Some midi loft beds even include an elegant tent that turns the sleeping space into a fun space for activities, games and sleepovers.

Some of our midi cabin beds also have the option to add doors to the drawers as well as cabinets. These are available in the exact same color as your footboard and head. If you need this, you can ask in store on the phone, or add a note to your order.

It features a low staircase that has the option of it to be turned around, a desk that can slide across the floor on wheels, two large drawers, and a cabinet with a door all included. Mattress

Most midi beds use standard UK single mattresses and the top bunk has a safety rail for added peace of mind. Some models come with a pull-out trundle drawer that can be used to host sleepovers, or to add more storage space under the bed. They can be open or equipped with doors (please see the product details for complete details).

Many midi cabins include desks that can be moved from one level to the other or chests. This provides children with a unique space to store their belongings and means there’s no need to use the floor space by putting up heavy shelving units or wardrobes.

Some models have gone one step further with cabinets that are flush mounted, or even a part of the headboard or footboard. This is ideal for storing toys and books.
