A double stroller is a great option if you have twins, or two children with similar ages. They offer more seating configurations and are typically wider than single to double stroller strollers.
However, they don’t have to be bulky or heavy. Some are slim and fold flat to make it more compact for fitting into tight spaces or to go up and down steps.

The iCandy Orange comes with an integrated ride-on board that can be used as an enormous basket. It can also be set up to form a tandem using risers that can be added.
It’s easy to push thanks to its good turning circle, and the suspension bounces off bumps. It’s also simple to move around, even if children are in the seat over the front wheels. It’s a little tougher to get over large curbs because the weight shifts to the front when used in double mode, but this is true of most twin buggies.
The rear wheels have been made slightly smaller in the 2021 update which makes it easier to navigate narrow spaces such as doors and shops, as well as on public transport. The tyres are also very robust and come with treads that can withstand grass and mud. It’s also simple to fold – simply releasing a clip by the back wheels and pulling two levers on the handle pops it up in seconds. It’s freestanding when folded too. There’s also a mesh sunscreen for the seat and carrycot which can be put on in seconds.

It’s also compatible with Joie Gemm and i-Snug baby car seats (car seat sold separately) to make an entire travel system.
The only downside is that the seat in the rear does not fully recline However, that’s only one minor flaw in an otherwise fantastic double pushchair buggy. There is no way to add an additional board to the buggy, however this isn’t uncommon for side-by-side designs.
Overall, the Evalite is a wonderful buggy that with some small tweaks could be perfect. It’s easy to drive and the seats are very comfortable for children of all different ages. The handle is cushioned so it’s more comfortable to hold and the wheels come with suspension to provide an enjoyable ride. It comes with a great canopy that provides ample coverage and is easy to adjust to different head heights. It’s higher than the majority of its competitors, so it may not be suitable for parents who have shorter strides, but is still a great option for those who have longer strides. The front wheels can be used to lock or pivot, which is ideal for steering over rough terrain.
The only drawback of this stroller is that it can’t fold as compactly as some of the other strollers we have in our guide. The second seat needs to be removed in order to fold the stroller, which could be a challenge if you need to store it in your vehicle or in a closet. It does, however, have one of the largest storage bins we’ve seen in our rankings, so it should remain a good fit for those who require a lightweight double stroller for their family.

Graco SnugRide SnugLock
The Graco SnugRide SnugLock is a rear-facing infant car seat that includes the base. It has an SnugLock arm, which functions as a giant clamp for holding the seat belt. This arm requires minimal force to close, and can be closed with one hand. It is especially user-friendly for parents and grandparents who suffer from arthritis or weak physical strength. It’s also a great choice for those who don’t want to use LATCH and prefer seatbelt installation.
