3. Cybex Gazelle
The Cybex Gazelle is a great choice for parents looking for a stroller to grow with their family. It is a “modular” stroller or “convertible” stroller that can be configured in more than 20 ways to accommodate different seat units including infant car seats, cots and cradles.
The Cybex Gazelle is easy to move and light, making it ideal for parents who love to explore. It comes with a huge storage basket and many attachments to help parents carry groceries or light shopping. It’s a bit more expensive than some other 2 in 1 infant car seat and stroller in 1 prams but it’s worth the purchase because of the quality and performance of this model is top-notch.
The stroller comes with an easy-pull harness that makes secure your child’s seat easy. It also includes sun canopy with XXL removable panels as well as peek-a-boo windows. It also has a practical tray for parents to store drinks, snacks and phones. The handlebar can be adjusted to suit the height of the parent and the brake can be easily accessed which makes it safe for children to operate.
Our mom tester Sophie from London used this stroller with her two girls aged 5 and 10 months. She took it on bumpy hilly ground and cobbled streets, and found the stroller to be extremely smooth and easy to maneuver. She loved that the padded seat and footrests were designed to be comfortable and ergonomically designed. the large shopping basket was practical. She also appreciated that the fabrics on the handlebars and hood were machine washable. This is essential for busy parents.
4. Joovy Twin Roo+
A simple frame stroller The Twin Roo+ offers car seat click-in and a huge storage bin. It is one of the lightest double strollers available on the market. It weighs only 24 lbs. without infant car seat attachments. This is quite light for a twin stroller. It is slightly heavier than both the UPPAbaby v2 double and the Thule Urban Glide 2 double.
The Roo+ comes with a quick-start guide, and is easy to use. It snaps together easily and takes less than 10 minutes to get road-ready. It doesn’t have a canopy built-in, so your babies will have to wear their own sunshades if you need extra coverage from the elements.
During our testing during our testing, we found the Roo+ to maneuver well for a stroller that doubles as a stroller. It can maneuver through all terrains, but has trouble with grassy areas as well as over gravel. It can also be hard to steer it up and over 1-inch curbs. We wouldn’t recommend taking this stroller off-road or on stairs, however it does offer excellent suspension to limit bumps for the passengers.
The Roo+ has a large storage bin underneath the seat, but it’s difficult to access without removing infant car seats. This is a common problem with twin frame strollers. However, Joovy does offer a separate under-seat baby carrier bag to help address this issue.
In contrast to other top-scoring models the Roo+ does not have an auto-standing fold or cup holders. It’s a small price to pay for car storage and seat compatibility, however we’d rather have a stroller with a bit more flexibility. The stroller’s flexibility in seating configuration is a big benefit. Parents can put their infant car seats in either opposite directions or the same direction, depending on their needs.
5. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side
Delta Children LX Side by Side scored high in terms of weight and size folded. It’s the best value double umbrella stroller we’ve seen in our review. It also scored highly for maneuverability, a key attribute for parents looking for an umbrella stroller that can fit into small spaces. The Delta is a basic model with a few features that other strollers in our testing provide, such as a deep recline or large storage baskets. However, it’s a great choice for families on a tight budget and those who require a secondary stroller for occasional use, like a day at the zoo.
The LX Side-by-Side is a lightweight and compact stroller. It is easy to turn and push. Its frame is short, it has rotating wheels in the front and padded shoulder pad provide an easy ride. It’s comfortable for all passengers thanks to its multi-position reclining seat and cup holder for the parent.
It also has a large canopy that is European style that offers shade from the sun and some protection from light winds. It also comes with two storage bags and the five-point safety harness, and two storage bags.
The Delta was constructed in less than three minutes, the fastest time of all test groups. The manual is fairly basic and doesn’t require any tools for assembly. It is among the lighter items in our test group. It folds flat, making it easy to lift and carry. In our Strollers & Multiples test, we rated the ease and smoothness with the ease with which each product can be turned and pushed open and closed safety harness, adjusted the brakes, opened and closed the storage basket, and installed and removed the infant car seat.
