Lightest Double Stroller
When looking for a light double travel stroller stroller the weight and size are the most important aspects to consider. When not in use, pick a stroller that is simple to use and compact. This makes it easier to store in your car trunk and navigate through airport gates and international roads.
The best lightweight strollers have a simple, intuitive fold that allows them to stand up on their own. This reduces stress on the parent’s body. Many strollers come with multiple seating configurations and some can even accommodate infant car seats.
Kolcraft Cloud Plus
Created for families that are on the move. Lightweight and compact, with an easy one-handed fold. The all-terrain wheels and front suspension and the multi-position reclining seat, allow for children to weigh up to 50 pounds. The trays for parents and children and a large storage basket and 3-tiered extended canopy with peekaboo window provide maximum sun protection.
The Cloud received one of the lowest scores in our quality tests due to its thin feel with hard plastic seats, and a design that feels dated. It’s also costly compared to other strollers that are lighter which is why it’s not the best choice if you’re looking for an economical alternative.
While it’s not the most light double stroller, it comes with enough features worth a look. Its swiveling wheels make easy for you to navigate it on flat surfaces. It can also leap over curbs without much effort. The Cloud’s low handle is a disadvantage, however; it’s nearly at knee height, and not adjustable. It’s difficult to push while your legs are dangling in that way. And the absence of padding doesn’t make it any easier.
During our testing, we found the Cloud to be simple to open and set up. It’s a little more difficult to close the cloud, however. You must slide a slider, and then push a large white button for it to collapse. This can be quite a hassle especially if you’re juggling kids while doing it.
The Cloud comes with a small but deep storage basket that could be used to fit a medium-sized diaper bag. It’s a little narrow however it’s likely that you’ll need to put something in to reach the back to get it back. The Cloud comes with two tray for parents and a child tray each with two cup holders. But both are too small for larger bottles or cups.

Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS is a lightweight and minimalist double stroller that’s perfect for travel. It weighs only 18 lbs, which is lighter than other single strollers. and folds flat for easy transport and storage. The visors can be adjusted to fit kids of various heights. It also has one-step linked parking brake and is Disney-size approved.
Jeep’s swivel wheel system is also great for navigating over bumps and uneven terrain. This stroller doesn’t accept car seats. Your child must be at least six months old and possess a good neck control to ride on the front seat. It does have an attractive, three-panel sun canopy, though each seat comes with its own snack tray and cup holders for parents.
Another stroller that is extremely light is Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend. It’s heavier than the Kolcraft Cloud Plus, at 23 pounds. However, it’s smaller and thinner (26.5 inches wide!) It has a lot of luxurious features that make it perfect for travel. It’s a simple fold, is extremely maneuverable and can fit in the overhead compartments of airplanes and trunks easily.
The Joovy Kooper X2 tri-folds and is ultralight, like the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double or Mountain Buggy Nano Duo. It’s pretty similar to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS, but it has some distinct distinctions. It’s also slightly more expensive, but it also has greater maneuverability and a larger sun canopy. It also comes with a handy carry strap and can accommodate children up to 44 pounds per seat.
Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+
If you’re seeking a stroller which is light in weight but also packed with features, look no further than Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+. Joovy Kooper X2
The Kooper X2 double buggy that converts to single stroller is a great choice for parents looking for a light double stroller that can hold two kids. The sling-style seats are comfy and provide the same amount of headroom, which allows kids to sit together. Contrary to other strollers with side-by-side seating this one Kooper X2 offers a fully reclined seat that’s ideal for napping. The recline mechanism is simple to operate but it isn’t genuinely flat; taller kids might find they have a leg that hangs out of the way when sitting in the reclined position. It also has a big canopy that we found to be more effective in blocking the sun’s rays than other options in our review of the best stokke double stroller strollers.
The stroller is light enough to easily move through door frames which was a major problem for us with some other models in our testing. It is easy to fold and the handlebars sit close to the ground. Its only drawback is its limited storage space. When it is full of toys for kids it feels tight.

We also looked at the durability and strength and also whether each product has a parent tray which can accommodate both child trays.
The Joovy Kooper X2 earned the top rating for user-friendliness in our most recent edition of our top double strollers guide, and also one of the highest scores in our Strollers test program overall.
